Terms of Use
Last updated 10 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the NOD Care apps and website. Please read them with our Privacy Policy.
1. What NOD is
NOD Care is a platform that connects you with independent, verified healthcare providers: doctors, clinics, hospitals, nurses and caretakers, diagnostic centres and pharmacies. NOD is not a healthcare provider. Medical advice, diagnosis and treatment are the responsibility of the provider you choose.
NOD is not for emergencies. In an emergency call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and sign in with a mobile number you control.
- Keep your phone and one-time codes private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information, especially about the patient's health and contact details.
3. Bookings
- Choosing a slot sends a booking request. It is confirmed only when the provider accepts it. We notify you either way.
- If the provider does not respond within two hours (or 30 minutes before the visit, whichever is earlier), the request expires and the slot is released.
- Providers may occasionally need to cancel an accepted visit; we will tell you and, if you prepaid, refund you in full.
- Please arrive on time. Missed visits may be marked as no-shows.
4. Payments and refunds
- After the provider accepts, you can pay in the app (processed securely by Razorpay) or pay at the visit. Fees shown in the app include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Full refund if the provider or NOD cancels, or if you cancel at least 4 hours before the visit.
- No refund if you cancel less than 4 hours before the visit or miss it.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–7 working days.
- Medicine orders and lab tests follow the refund terms shown at checkout.
5. Providers on NOD
We verify each provider's registration before listing them and expect them to keep their availability accurate and respond to requests promptly. Providers are independent and solely responsible for the care they provide. Ratings and reviews must reflect genuine experiences.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't book slots you don't intend to use, or misuse coupons or refunds.
- Don't upload prescriptions or documents that aren't genuine.
- Don't harass providers or staff, or attempt to access other people's data.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, NOD is not liable for the medical outcome of care provided by independent providers, or for indirect losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the fees you paid through NOD for the booking in question.
8. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from the app or via our deletion page. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at New Delhi having jurisdiction. Questions or complaints: hello@nodapp.in.
